Emillio is in the final stage of his apprenticeship at Bonomini, and his work is already so accomplished that we have brought him onto the shop floor early. He now welcomes his own clients at our Clifton salon, with a refined, signature style that is entirely his own, and a real gift for the bouncy blow dry.
Ready before the finish line
At Bonomini, we believe in-house education is the finest form of development, and there are few better places to train. Emillio has learned alongside Betsy, our international colour genius, and our education team of Mel and Amy, who bring nearly forty years of combined experience between them. Every technique, every finish and every client conversation has been learned here, in the salon.
Apprentices at Bonomini usually complete every stage of our programme before they take clients of their own. It is how the salon has kept its standard for three decades. Emillio’s work reached that standard sooner, so rather than keep his talent in training, we have given it space on the floor while he completes his final stage. We could not be prouder of how far he has come, and this is just the beginning.
His colour work
Emillio’s colour is soft, glossy and quietly considered. Every appointment begins with a consultation, so the shade is designed around you before any colour is applied, using our sustainable Davines colour.
