BALAYAGE QUESTIONS

How much does balayage cost in Bristol? At Bonomini, colour-only balayage starts from £113 for a half head, or £152 for a full head. Our Balayage Refresh, which includes half head balayage, a toner, a Davines treatment, and a cut and finish, starts from £250. The final price depends on your hair length, thickness and starting colour, which we confirm at your consultation.

How long does balayage last? Because balayage grows out softly, most clients go three to four months between full appointments. A toner in between keeps the colour fresh and stops brassiness.

What is the difference between balayage and highlights? Highlights are placed in foils in a regular pattern from the root, for an even, all-over lift. Balayage is placed freehand and concentrated through the mid-lengths and ends, for a softer, more natural fade.

Do I need a consultation first? Not always, but we recommend one if you are changing your colour significantly, have box dye in your hair, or are unsure what to book. Every new colour client needs a patch test 48 hours before.

What products do we use? We are an exclusive Davines salon. Every colour, treatment and finish is crafted with Davines, the B Corp certified Italian house, so your hair is cared for at every step, considered, sustainable and never compromised.
