About Us
Bonomini opened in 1997. Since training with John Frieda and Nicky Clarke in London, I had always wanted to open my own salon and recreate a little bit of that buzzy London feel here in Bristol. Having realised my dream, I was extremely proud when the salon won the top award, Salon of the year at the 2004 British Hairdressers’ Business Awards – the icing on the cake.
I like to think that the salon, while highly professional, is not intimidating but inclusive, relaxed and friendly. You won’t find rows of hairdressers in matching outfits and overdone, trendy haircuts – but well-trained, helpful and independent staff that will let you read that article in peace or chat if you’d rather – they also make a mean cup of coffee!
Upstairs, we have a specialist colouring area with state-of-the-art massage chairs, where you can lie back and be thoroughly indulged.
As well as looking after our clients, we do styling for photo shoots, awards and editorial in magazines and newspapers. We also hold an annual, charity event and are involved in the Bristol University fashion show.
